I loved The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t with Her Mind, and if you enjoy quirky humor, sci-fi, and fantasy, you'll enjoy this one too!
Mark your calendars folks! Volume 1 of my debut novel, Season of The Monster releases AUGUST 11th! But you can pre-order now!
Definitely my favorite in the trilogy. It brings back the idea of a creepy and disturbing villain from the first two novels, but it adds a paranormal element true to King novels but lacking from EoW's predecessors.
Not going to lie, I shed a tear when it was all said and done. I'm sad it's over, but grateful to have been a part of the journey.
3.5 Stars. A talented voice meets an intriguing premise but drags through verbose scenes in order to deliver a sequel(s).
Finders Keepers is a great novel but it's a HUGE departure from Mr. Mercedes. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed this one front to back!
I just can't like this book. It did too much with so little. The prose drones on, the twists are too far fetched and none of the characters seem genuine (in the worst possible way). I recommend staying away from this one.
The Guest List was a fan favorite in 2020 with a lot of high recommendations. However, I believe that's thanks to marketing and not the story itself. This whodunnit is a bit lackluster, and will leave many readers feeling shorted.
AJ Rivers second Emma Griffin novel does a complete 180 from the first, focusing on one storyline rather than a multitude.
But does this help the story in the end?
I am finding with SOTM that I enjoy writing bottleneck episodes. There's something about the forced intimacy that I love for further developing the relationships amongst characters.
Whether you're a new visitor or a current subscriber, I am incredibly excited to announce an exclusive Kindle Vella Release - Season of the Monster.
